Early Life and Education

In a harrowing turn of events at the age of four, Bizzy Bone and his sisters were abducted by their mother's boyfriend in 1980. He subjected them to abuse until their escape in 1983, aided by their babysitter and authorities. At 13, Bizzy reunited with his sister in Cleveland, where he connected with artists like Flesh-n-Bone and eventually co-founded the group B. O. N. E. Enterpri$e. After graduating high school in 1995, he dedicated himself to music rather than pursuing further education.

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's Rise to Fame

The group's debut album, "Faces of Death," released under their original name, caught the attention of Eazy-E in 1993, leading to a pivotal name change to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and a deal with Ruthless Records. Their EP "Creepin on ah Come Up" soared to impressive chart positions, with singles like "Foe tha Love of $" and "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" gaining widespread popularity. Tragically, Eazy-E passed away in 1995, casting a shadow over the group's future. Nevertheless, Ruthless Records remained supportive, and their subsequent albums solidified their status in the hip-hop community.

In 1996, they established Mo Thugs Records and released "Family Scriptures," continuing their collaboration with prominent artists, including a planned project with 2Pac. Although 2Pac's untimely death in 1996 was a setback, the group pressed on with their musical exploration, delivering hits like "Look Into My Eyes" from the "Art of War" album, which gained prominence through its use in the film "Batman & Robin."

Their discography includes notable works such as "BTNHResurrection," "Thug World Order," and "Thug Stories," with the former achieving gold certification from the RIAA. "Strength & Loyalty," released in 2007, marked another high point, topping charts and earning a gold record. Later albums continued to showcase their evolving sound, culminating in the release of "War of Roses" in 2026.

His 2019 album "Carbon Monoxide" demonstrated his adaptability and continued relevance in the industry.
